The TRAM Strengthening Workshop took place June 26 – 28, and proved to be an amazing experience for workshop participants, Partners and Selection Panel alike. Seventeen networks and teams came in, and spent three days in intense discussion, debate, consideration of new ideas and rethinking of old ones. They brought passion, conviction and a determination to transform the system – often starting with themselves.
At the end, through considerable metamorphosis, 17 groups had begun to coalesce into a handful of newly-conceived emerging networks, a process which will continue to evolve over the coming months.
Each of the groups selected to participate at the workshop provided both a profile and a brief introductory presentation. We are pleased to share these descriptions of the foundations upon which TRAM network proposals are now being built to submit to the next phase – Letter of Intent.
In addition to our participants, we were privileged to have four external experts attend the Strengthening Workshop. The experts along with some TRAM Selection Panel members, candidly discussed their successes and challenges in building partnerships and changing systems.
